Primary Industrial Development of Australia was founded in 1999 by David Kang Noong Choi, the CEO of PIDA at present.
PIDA started off for the purpose of supplying various types of cows to Korea from Australia.

Currently, PIDA breeds calves in Tasmania then exports the live stocks to Korea and Japan to fill the insufficient meat production.
